A small museum on the outskirts of Copenhagen often has exhibitions of embroidery. There is an exhibition coming up showing how text can be used in embroidery.
They have asked the public to express themselves through embroidery using text in some way or another. These embroideries must be mounted in round hoops, and will be used to decorate a wall throughout the exhibition.
The piece here shows the text – “det tegner godt” which means approximately ” it is going to be OK” . At the same time word “tegner” means drawing.
