I visited the Linadan Yarns stand at the NEC and was amazed by the beautiful linen threads and embroidery patterns from the 1960’s. Aprt from the threads there was an exhibition of some lovely embroiderede pieces from the sixties. Linladan means The Flax Barn in Swedish. When the factory closed down the yarns were hidden away in a haberdashery stockroom for decades, until found by a very dedicated lady who has made an amazing effort to save these beautiful threads and patterns, Please read more about the project etc. on http://www.linladan.com
