Sketch Book Trees

I have drawn an old oak tree trunk in pencil in my sketch book and wanted to try using another technique. For the picture on the right I  covered a piece of baking parchment in a layer of oil pastel -. I placed this, colour side down, on my sketch book page and drew the tree trunk again. This transferred the oil pastel to my prepared page (flicked paint) where I put the pressure on  the parchment with my pencil
