Drawing Rusty Chains

This is a very different motif from garden flowers, but one I find fascinating to draw.

I am participating in an online sketch book course at present, with the wonderful Douglas Andersen, which involves looking at all sorts of things connected with water. For these rusty chains (spotted at a harbour) I have used neocolour II, inktense pencils, watercolour and, for  the bottom right image, torn paper collage.
