Inspiration

I am planning a small series of moth/butterfly pictures, made by hand.

Below is an image of The Butterfly Room at The Natural History Museum in Copenhagen, and a little critter I found, while out walking, about a year ago. He was dead on the pavement and I carried him home very carefully.

I hope to be able to capture the essence of the insects. Although they won’t be realistic renderings, they must be recognisable as what they are.
