The Danish embroidery artist Bettina Andersen celebrated the eighth anniversary of her studio this weekend with a BIRD workshop – and a birthday cake.
We were all given a bag of fabric blue, green or beige linen and some colourful threads in different qualities and asked to embroider birds.
When (and if ) the pieces are finshed off at home and made into bags or pictures they will be exhibited in her studio. Here visitors can vote for their favourite, that will win a voucher for another workshop. My piece can be seen on the third picture – and I am continuing to work on it
