Each year the porcelain factory/shop invite 6 people to decorate tables, using the lovely porcelain from Royal Copenhagen and these are on show in the shop in Copenhagen. This year 6 very talented crafts people have been invited. Their work is pretty and inspiring although, for the most, certainly not very practical.
The two first images are from Effi Pingel’s beautiful table. Effi is a fleurist and has crafted silk flowers, dragonflies and bumblebees with a promise of the spring season that follows the dark winter.
The table with the tissue paper flowers was created by paper artist Marianne Eriksen Scott-Hansen. Marianne has been inspired by some of the flowers on the blue and white porcelain, but has also made flowers with religious connotations
