Hand stitch – The Faroes

I have  completed a small embroidery, approximately 10X15 cm. The piece is inspired by a water colour sketch done, whilst travelling on The Faroes. I have used tapestry wool, which comes in an amazing number of colours and shades. In Denmark it is easy to buy second hand – just check for moths if you do this. I always keep my wool in closed containers. I have used split stitch, back stitch and a few french knots.
