Making these altered books was great fun and very reminiscent og my childhood’s scrapbooks. I used to cut pictures from magasines and greeting cards and arrange them into small scenes.
Working in the books I have used alphabet stamps to create continuity from one page to the next , where the colours and techniques can vary a lot. On each page I decided which illustration or words were to remain visible in the finished book. The words in the dictionary, of course, dictated the illustrations.
