I have finished my book, but it has not turned out as well as I had hoped. It has been a learning curve, and I will continue making books and will learn from my experiences.
When making the holes to pull the book together you need to be very accurate – this can make or break the whole project. Choosing to use so many different kinds of paper and fabric didn’t make things easier. I really like the prints I made on tracing paper, and the transparent effect. One is an old letter found in an envelope from the flea market in Dolo- the other an image taken in Verona at Romeo and Juliet’s courtyard. this paper though wasn’t easy to work with
