I spent a few hours this morning at the local Open Air Museum. It is usually quite peaceful as it covers a very large area and apart from the many beautiful old buildings, there are animals and plants to draw. Today the visit was cut a bit short by the rain, for which we have been waiting for so long.
The gardens are beautifully well kept by volunteers and I couldn’t resist taking pictures of the artichokes. The bees were busy in the purple flowers and the artichokes themselves were perfect examples og nature’s use og complementary colours. We can just learn so much by looking at nature.
